BOWLAND LECTURE 2026

Tithe Barn, Browsholme, Cow Ark (near Clitheroe)

This year's lecture will be delivered by Susan Harrison, Curator of Collections with English Heritage.

Susan's talk will spotlight Sawley Abbey, a Cistercian Abbey founded in 1146, including its history and archaeological finds.

Once again, the lecture will take place in the lovely surroundings of the Tithe Barn at Browsholme Hall.

All proceeds will go to support local charities, Slaidburn Archive and Champion Bowland.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
