14 Champion Species are at the heart of the Forest of Bowland Nature Recovery Plan. Most are rare or threatened and of conservation concern. These charismatic species provide inspiration for people to care for nature and as indicator species, they can show that an ecosystem or habitat is healthy.
We have launched a series of 14 beautifully illustrated pin badges produced by Dr Selina Ellis-Gray from Salt Marsh Studios. These collectible and limited-edition designs offer a sustainable alternative to traditional enamel pins. Proudly supporting a UK company, the collection features eco-metal badges crafted from recycled metals.
The online shop will launch at the end of August 2025.
