About Wood End Farm:
Wood End Farm is a family run business located in the heart of the Forest of Bowland, in Dunsop Bridge. The farm is made up of 1,200 acres with 600 acres of this rough fell grazing, and hosts 300 cattle and 700 breeding sheep as well as their 17 alpacas, 2 pigs and Shetland pony. The farm is undergoing change to implement regenerative farming and rotational grazing which is aimed at conservation and environmental benefit of soil and carbon.

Activities:
Alison and Janet have a huge imagination when it comes the educational visits with plenty of resources and facilities to aid learning in the environment. Visits can be tailored to the needs or interests of the group, but some topics and activities include:
- Meeting the alpacas, pet sheep and calves
- Nature walk – soils, bugs, regenerative agriculture
- Ponds
- Machinery – how it has changed over the years
- Model Milking cow
Facilities:
- TEACHING SPACE – indoor building, suitable for up to 30 children
- PARKING – suitable for minibuses and coaches

- 2 Terrain Hoppers – one adult, one child

- SPARE ITEMS – the farm have approximately 2 pairs of each child's size, and a few adults pairs of wellies.
