This report was compiled as part of the National Landscape Anniversary in 2014: celebrating fifty years since the Forest of Bowland was designated as a protected landscape (see below). It has since been updated for 2024.
The report sets out a number of indicators which describe the National Landscape's landscape, its communities, the people who enjoy the area, and the partnership that manages the National Landscape.
