Continuing the successful work of Sustainable Bowland with 18 businesses in the Forest of Bowland AONB achieving GTBS accreditation in 2007, we have now secured funds to support further businesses wishing to take part in the scheme. This support has also been extended Lancashire wide. This is an exciting joint venture with Lancashire County Developments Limited and Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board.
Following a series of GTBS introductory seminars run in October several businesses have now signed up to the scheme and will be accredited in March 09. If you are interested in finding out more information about GTBS or would like to come along to the next introductory seminars planned for April 09, please email hetty.byrne@lancashire.gov.uk

Clitheroe Walks 4 - Castle Grounds to Standen Hey (pdf 788kb)
Starting in Clitheroe this varied walk follows part of the River Ribble and then on to Standen Hey Community Woodland - a lovely family walk!
